After two successful editions, RockTech Paris has announced its third edition titled RockTech Paris #Gaming #Esport, which will be all about startups that are ‘transforming the way that games are created, data is collected, and content is shared’.

Benjamin Debusschere, RockTech Paris

RockTech Paris is a bimonthly event, in an intimate setting of 100 max, which puts entrepreneurs in front of an audience of journalists, industry experts, investors and stakeholders. This third edition, taking place on the evening of February 15th, is looking at esports, and gaming more generally, and will put up to eight start ups in the spotlight.

This event is being run in partnership with both Orange and Reed Smith, and will see startups pitch for investment, strategic partnerships, and mentoring. Each will have just three minutes to pitch to the jury.

For RockTech Paris #Gaming & #Esport, the jury will be composed of:

  • Jean-Louis Charlety, VP Games, Music, Culture and Infotainment Business Unit, Orange Content
  • Matthieu Dallon, Advisor Webedia & CEO, Trust Esport Ventures
  • Sophia Metz, Founder, Meltdown
  • Guillaume Rambourg, General Manager, Riot Games France

Benjamin Debusschere, Co-Founder of RockTech Paris told Esports Insider: “Looking at the booming tech scene in Paris and talking with several founders & entrepreneurs, we realized that something was missing. Although there are countless conferences, meetups and pitching competitions, none of them really align with our mission here at Connectors: to accelerate connections within the innovation ecosystem. So, we decided to launch RockTech Paris, a bimonthly event taking place in an intimate setting, turning entrepreneurs into rockstars in front of a curated audience of experts and investors.

“This will be the third edition of RockTech Paris and it will be dedicated to gaming and esports. The plan is to reunite the ecosystem around the presentation of 8 startups in the industry, sharing insights on esports and gaming. The event will end with qualitative networking between the participants.”

Start-ups that would like to pitch to the jury can apply to do so here, whilst those interested in attending can secure their tickets at this link

At the end of the session, the evening’s victor will be chosen by both the jury and the public. The selected startups will get personalised mentoring from experts and investors, as well as a ticket for our own upcoming ESI Super Forum on March 22nd in London.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
