The British Esports Association, a not-for-profit organisation that supports and promote esports, has become a member of the Creative Industries Federation. After its inception in 2016, the association aims to develop British talent, increase the exposure of esports, and provide expert advice specifically at the grassroots level.

British Esports Association

An independent national organisation for the UK’s many creative industries, the Creative Industries Federation also works with the government and allows its members to connect and work with others on initiatives. As you’d expect, the British Esports Association has joined the network to help spread the word on esports.

Andy Payne OBE, Chair at British Esports Association, has joined the UK Council for the Creative Industries Federation and discussed this new venture. “Joining the Creative Industries Federation gives us an interesting way to engage with wider creative industries, and get plugged into a wider creative industries agenda both from a local and international perspective. We can provide input on and increase awareness of esports and its benefits.”

The British Esports Association recently announced its British Esports Championship. Tailored specifically for school and college students, the championships will see competitions take place across League of Legends, Overwatch, and Project CARS 2. Hopefully the association joining the Creative Industries Federation will help spawn other exciting developments down the line.

Esports Insider says: This is an encouraging move for the British Esports Association. It now has access to those in creative industries that have an outside perspective which should bolster the growth and development of grassroots esports in the UK, especially amongst younger generations where the British Esports Association has focused its efforts to date.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
