Polish broadcasting channel TVP Sport is now the exclusive partner of the Intel Extreme Masters, ESL One, and ESL Polish Championships.

This means TVP will be broadcasting numerous tournaments on the internet channel sport.tvp.pl, mobile app TVP Sport, Facebook pages TVP Sports and TVP Esport, as well as TVP Sport itself.

Not only that, TVP has acquired the rights to the highlights of any and every ESL event. These will be exclusively broadcast in Polish, and will mark the first time the ESL Polish Championship has been shown on television. The partnership kicked off for this month’s IEM Katowice tournament, which saw 16 of the best teams in Dota 2 face off against each other. TVP is currently showing matches from the event, in which the finals take place on Sunday, March 4th.

TVP Sport, owned by TVP, launched on November 18th 2006. It’s available on nc+ (which is owned by Canal+ Group), Cyfrowy Polsat (the fifth-largest European digital platform and the largest in Central and Easten European), and other cable providers. TVP also holds broadcasting rights for the Olympics Games, the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and plenty of other huge sporting events.

ESL recently entered an exclusive streaming partnership with Facebook, allowing the social network access to all English streams for every ESL One event, as well as the ESL CS:GO Pro League. ESL One Genting, a Dota 2 tournament, was the first event to be streamed on Facebook, and was met with mostly negative responses from spectactors.

Esports Insider says: This is a big development for televised esports in general, but it’s especially beneficial for Polish fans and spectators.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
