North American esports organisation Golden Guardians have announced a 10,700 square-foot esports facility in Los Angeles, California.
The venue, which includes a creative studio and training facility, is set to open in Fall 2022.

The Golden Guardians are an esports affiliate of NBA team the Golden State Warriors. It was announced that the facility will house the Warriors’ esports business offices.
According to the announcement, Golden Guardians’ training facility will be available to its League of Legends, Super Smash Bros. Melee and World of Warcraft competitors. These players will have access to a training room, film room, player lounge, team operations office and kitchen.
Hunter Leigh, Golden State Warriors Head of Esports, commented: “Our new esports facility will have a significant positive impact the development of our competitors.
“The investment in a state-of-the-art headquarters in Los Angeles speaks to the Warriors’ long-term dedication to growing esports and supporting our players in every way possible. I cannot wait for construction to be complete and to offer these amenities to our team.”
The facility’s creative studio will be equipped with a filming set, green screen and editing bays. Specifically, the facility is located in Playa Vista, Los Angeles.

Golden Guardians have become the latest in a long list of esports organisations that have recently announced or unveiled new facilities. This includes the likes of British organisations EXCEL ESPORTS and Guild Esports, as well as Monumental Sports & Entertainment developing a venue for Team Liquid, Wizards District Gaming and Caps Gaming.
Esports Insider says: Golden Guardians’ facility should help bolster the organisation’s competitive and business operations. As esports start to professionalise even further, the development of dedicated all-round facilities is becoming more prominent within the scene. It’ll be intriguing to see if the organisation will be able to commercialise the space, similarly to how 100 Thieves — among others — have sponsors for certain areas.
