Gaming and esports company Wisdom Gaming has appointed former Minnesota Vikings EVP Steve LaCroix as its President.
The appointment comes as a result of a partnership expansion between Wisdom Gaming and LaCroix Sports and Entertainment.

As President of the company, LaCroix will report to Wisdom Gaming CEO Mike Zweigbaum and oversee various areas of the business including revenue generation, brand expansion and community engagement.
This year has proven to be very fruitful for Wisdom Gaming. In 2022, the company secured a deal with Riot Games to become an exclusive partner for the Wild Rift NA Series . Moreover, the company teamed up with prediction platform BallStreet Trading as a fantasy partner for HeroesCCL Season 4.
Zweigbaum spoke on LaCroix’s appointment: “Steve has a proven track record as a dynamic and strategic leader within the professional sports landscape. In our time working together under a partnership with LS&E, the decision was clear that his experience working with some of the biggest names in sports and his tenure with the Minnesota Vikings will be invaluable during our next growth stage.”
The appointment of LaCroix isn’t the only personnel change to take place for Wisdom Gaming. In March, Jaycie ‘Gillyweed’ Gluck and Ian Anderson received promotions to Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer as the company enters a ‘significant moment of growth’.

Esports Insider says: Armed with plenty of experience in traditional sports, the appointment of Steve LaCroix as President of Wisdom Gaming is one that will help the company continue its upward trajectory. It will be interesting to see whether the company’s direction changes as a result of the hire but nonetheless, it’s another solid addition to the company’s staff.
