West Ham United’s London Stadium played host to the world’s first FIFA tournament featuring pro players from traditional football clubs, with the eventual winner representing the odd one out.

Schalke 04, Wolfsburg, Man City, Sporting CP and Hashtag United took part in the event, in which Hammer Sean ‘ Dragonn’ Allen was defeated by Hashtag player and Spencer FC Academy winner, Harry Hesketh, in the final.

Spencer Owen, Owner of Hashtag United, Youtuber and West Ham fan, presented the event and commentated on each of the matches too. You can see footage from the tournament below, which largely consists of the final showdown in which there was £1500 on the line between Allen and Hesketh.

Esports Insider says: Make no mistake more and more of these type of events will pop up in the coming months, especially following the announcement of e-Ligue 1 and expected news of a European and world clubs format.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
