Indian esports organisation GodLike Esports has announced a collaboration with fellow Indian esports organisation Stalwart Esports.

As a result of the deal, the two parties will join forces to field a roster for the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) taking place from August 11th-13, 2022. Despite being an Indian organisation, Stalwart Esports remained in the PUBG Mobile scene, with its roster qualifying to PMWI through the PUBG Mobile Pro League – South Asia Championship.

The roster, now known as Stalwart GodLike, is one of 18 teams competing at PMWI taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event features a $2m (~£1.64m) prize pool and is organised by Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) run esports festival Gamers8.

Founded in 2020, Stalwart Esports has fielded rosters across a number of mobile titles including PUBG Mobile, Free Fire and Clash Royale. In addition, GodLike also has rosters in Battlegrounds Mobile India and Call of Duty Mobile, where the organisation recently won the Call of Duty Mobile India Challenge.

The formation of Stalwart GodLike follows the removal of BGMI from the PlayStore and Appstore in India. Game developer KRAFTON is attempting to clarify the reasoning behind the removal.

It has been announced that the collaboration is solely for PUBG Mobile, with both organisations continuing to field rosters in other titles under their own entities.

In 2021, Stalwart Esports became the first organisation to shift its balance sheet from cash to cryptocurrency resulting in it paying staff and players using crypto and blockchain technology.

In a TalkEsport article, Towqeer Gilkar, Co-founder of Stalwart Esports, spoke on the collaboration: “With this partnership, we not only want to amalgamate the two powerhouses in Asian esports but also to maximize the chances of bringing the cup home.”

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
