UK esports organisation Resolve Esports has named Jeff Simpkins as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).

As a result, Simpkins, who previously held a part-time position as Resolve’s Director of Operations, will immediately take over all daily operations of the organisation.

This is Simpkins’ first full-time position within esports, leaving a 13-year career at the Police. As Resolve’s Director of Operations, he split his time alongside being a Police Sergeant in Lancashire, England.

From 2016 to 2021, he held a part-time position at Barrage as its Managing Director. During that time, Simpkins was a finalist in 2018 at the UK Esports Awards as Esports Manager of the Year. Barrage was later acquired by Resolve in May 2021, with the director joining the organisation.

In his new role, Simpkins will be in charge of running Resolve’s daily opperations as well as dealing with the organisation’s relations with sponsors and partners.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
