European esports organisation Fnatic has announced a partnership with global circular economy company ChopValue.

As part of the collaboration, ChopValue will release a line of three REVIVE gaming desks, with the smallest upcycling 7,652 chopsticks and storing around 10kg of carbon.

Pre-ordering begins on September 27th on ChopValue’s site. The brand is releasing 1,000 limited edition desks, each of which will bear a unique number alongside Fnatic and ChopValue branding.

The cheapest models will cost £835 each, while the more hefty height-adjustable XL model will set fans back £1,140. Fans will be able to personalise their handmade desk with a laser-etched gamertag and logo.

ChopValue is also making a range of desk accessories available, from wrist rests to headphone stands. Through the collaboration, the two companies hope to re-purpose 10 million chopsticks and begin reducing the 57 billion pairs of reusable chopsticks that enter landfill each year.

A commercial production deal with ChopValue has been a long time coming for Fnatic. It announced its first chopstick desk with ChopValue back in April for Earth Day 2022 as a raffle for social media followers.

Although ChopValue hadn’t previously sponsored a gaming organisation, the partnership makes sense for both companies. ChopValue began its expansion into the UK market—where Fnatic is based—last year.

Fnatic sees the collaboration as another opportunity to market its successful gaming peripheral line and develop options for fan engagement and extra revenue outside traditional sponsorships. Its mousepad will be sold alongside the desk as an accessory. Custom PC manufacturer and fellow Fnatic partner Chillblast is also displayed in videos on ChopValue’s site.

Fnatic isn’t the first company to engage in environmentally-friendly partnerships. American organisation FlyQuest recently collaborated with MasterCard to plant trees at key moments in its LCS team’s games.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
