American esports organisation Oxygen Esports has partnered with toy company Gel Blaster for its custom Rocket League in-game car wrap.

The Oxygen Esports branded car, now featuring Gel Blaster’s logo, will be available for purchase in the game ahead of the upcoming Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) in October. The partnership will also include social media activations and a content series.

Located in New England, Oxygen Esports fields rosters across a number of esports titles. The organisation competes in Rainbow Six, Rocket League, Halo, Apex Legends, VALORANT and more. Notably, the organisation merged with Boston Uprising in late 2021 and acquired a CoD League slot the same year. It operates the Overwatch League franchise Boston Uprising as well as Boston Breach, a Call of Duty League team.

Gel Blaster is a brand that sells eco-friendly toy guns that shoot out water-based beads that evaporate on impact. The guns are used in a manner similar to airsoft, Nerf or paintball guns, but have the advantage of being more eco-friendly than Nerf and Paintball,

The company has recently started selling its product at retailers, and the partnership with Oxygen Esports marks the first time Gel Blaster is actively sponsoring an esports organisation. Both Oxygen Esports and Gel Blaster noted that this partnership wants to showcase the importance of physical activity.

Oxygen Esports noted via Twitter that today’s announcement will be followed by more news next week, however, details further details were sparse.

Murph Vandervelde, President & Co-Founder of Oxygen Esports, commented: “At OXG we aim to educate our gamers and fans that while gaming is fun, getting active is paramount to staying healthy and unlocking peak in-game performance.

“It is no surprise the gaming community gravitates towards Gel Blaster’s gaming-changing products as they make getting active easy and enjoyable.”

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
