Indian esports organisation Gods Reign has been announced for the Skyesports Masters, a franchised CS:GO league operated by Indian esports and gaming company Skyesports.

Gods Reign is one of eight teams competing in the tournament, which aims to build a sustainable ecosystem for CS:GO in the country.

Spanning three months, the tournament will see Gods Reign compete in regular season matches against other franchised teams in a bid to qualify for the Playoff stage which will take place as a LAN event. Details on when, or where, the LAN event will take place were not disclosed.

The Skyesports Masters will feature a 2 Crore INR (~£195,800) prize pool. Moreover, the tournament organisers will create a range of revenue opportunities to encourage sustainability within grassroots CS:GO in India.

Based in Bangalore, entering the Skyesports Masters marks the debut of Gods Reign in CS:GO. Its roster features two players that competed during the 2021 and 2022 World Esports Championships organised by the International Esports Federation (IESF).

Gods Reign is the second organisation to secure a Skyesports Masters franchise slot, joining Revenant Esports in the competition. The remaining six teams will be announced at a later date.

K.R Rohith, CEO of Gods Reign, spoke on the announcement: “Our organisation is committed to contributing to the growth of CS:GO’s ecosystem in the country and Skesports Masters will act as the perfect catalyst for it.

“The tournament is not just an opportunity to compete with India’s best CS:GO teams, but a chance to showcase the immense potential of Esports and the incredible talent of our team. We believe in the ability of our supremely skilled athletes and cannot wait to show the nation what we’re made of.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
