Indian esports organisation Revenant Esports has announced a partnership with PC parts manufacturer GIGABYTE.
As a result of the deal, the GIGABYTE and its Aorus brand will become Revenant Esports’ CS:GO partner for the Skyesports Masters, India’s first franchised esports league.
Revenant Esports is one of eight organisations taking part in the Skyesports Masters, which will feature a 2 Crore INR (~£195,800) prize pool. As its CS:GO partner, GIGABYTE will provide players with a range of PC parts for their systems.
The franchised Skyesports Masters aims to create a sustainable ecosystem for teams in India and the surrounding region through a range of revenue opportunities that include sponsorships and media rights deals, though some commentators have expressed concern over its scale.
In addition to unveiling GIGABYTE as its new partner, Revenant Esports also unveiled its roster competing in the Skyesports Masters. Alongside CS:GO, Revenant Esports competes in a range of titles including VALORANT, Brawlstars, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Pokemon Unite.
GIGABYTE is no stranger to the esports industry. Its AORUS brand has previously collaborated with Hong Kong-based organisation Talon Esports and its PSG Talon League of Legends team.
The GIGABYTE deal is the first partnership for Revenant Esports since Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff invested in the organisation May 2023.
