Esports tournament organiser ESL FACEIT Group has expanded its partnership with hardware manufacturers Acer and Intel.

Acer’s Predator brand will be the Original Equipment Manufacturer for ESL CS2 and Dota 2 events in 2024. This includes the likes of IEM, ESL Pro League, ESL Challenger, ESL One and DreamLeague.

ESL and Acer only recently expanded their partnership in April 2023, when the tournament organiser announced that Acer would be its partner on almost all major events. The partnership is now expanded even more, with Intel, EFG’s long-standing partner, now supporting the partnership.

Acer’s Predator lineup of high-performance computers and other hardware will be utilised at all of ESL’s large-scale events in 2024. ESL is set to have IEM events in China, Dallas, USA, Cologne with IEM Fall also announced.

In Dota 2, Predator will be present in the DreamLeague seasons 21, 22, and 23, as well as ESL One Birmingham and ESL One Asia. Acer’s Predator line of PCs will be used by players on LAN, but the partnership also includes an array of integrations, including broadcast features, brand exposure and a Predator booth open to the public during the mentioned events.

Intel, as the processor supplier for the Acer Predator range of PCs, will also be featured together with the gaming brand on events and broadcasts.

Bastian Veiser, Director of Partner Management at EFG, commented on the deal: “Acer has consistently shown their commitment towards elevating the esports scene and delivering outstanding experiences for fans all over the world, and we’re excited to be renewing and expanding our partnership for another year.

“The partnership has already brought immense value to EFG products and their respective communities, and we look forward to continuing to innovate with Intel and Acer in 2024.”
