Game developer Riot Games has announced a partnership with LED display solution provider Unilumin for the 2024 VALORANT esports EMEA season.

As an official supplier of VCT EMEA, VALORANT Game Changers EMEA and VALORANT Ascension EMEA, Unilumin will have its LED technology displayed across Berlin’s Riot Games Arena.

According to a release, the screens aim to ‘level up the fan experience’, with the company’s logo also featuring across VALORANT Esports EMEA broadcasts in 2024. Exact details as to how Unilumin’s product will be utilised have not been revealed.

Founded in 2004, Unilumin has provided its LED solutions to a range of sports stadiums and entertainment venues, including the likes of Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz Arena. The provider joins VCT EMEA’s commercial portfolio, which also includes the likes of Aim Lab and Red Bull.

The VALORANT EMEA season officially commenced in February with the VCT EMEA Kickoff. As of this writing the competition has recorded a peak viewership of over 290,000, which was between French esports organisations Gentle Mates and Team Vitality on February 21st.

Earlier this week, Riot Games also launched official VCT 2024 official capsules for its 44 partner teams. Each customised team capsule allows fans to not only support their organisations, but it provides in-game revenue opportunities for teams.

Daniel Ringland, Head of VALORANT Esports EMEA, commented: “After working with Unilumin for the refit of the Riot Games Arena, we’re delighted to welcome them as a supplier for our various VALORANT Esports EMEA events in 2024.

“Unilumin has helped us enhance the fan experience for those watching from home and joining us on-site, and we can’t wait to use their display technology throughout the season.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
