North American esports organisation Immortals has entered the Latin American esports scene by expanding into the growingly-popular shooter title Rainbow Six Siege.
Acquiring a Brazilian roster who used to represent BRK E-Sports before leaving on May 31st, this move is part of a “comprehensive deal” between the organisation and Rainbow Six Siege’s developer and publisher, Ubisoft.
The roster will represent Immortals from here on out, but it will continue to play, train, and operate in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The roster is as follows:

- Matheus “Px” Freire Mesquita
- Daniel Pinto “Nobys” Coelho Novy
- Diogo “D1OGO” Fernandes De Souza Vieira
- Lucas “Yuuk” Ridrigues (Coach)
Ubisoft will offer Immortals-brand in-game items for purchase from fans and players of Rainbow Six Siege, including a charm and weapon skin. The roster will also make use of Immortals’ new-found relationship with Razer, using its peripherals to train and compete.
Bertrand Chaverot, Managing Director of Ubisoft Latin America stated: “As we prepare for this year’s Rainbow Six Pro League in Brazil, the team is excited to work with Immortals to develop a unique brand identity that will appeal to esports fans all across Brazil. Brazilian esports teams hold an undying dedication among their fans, and we believe this partnership will lead to an exciting Pro League season.”
As well as entering this title, Immortals houses teams in Dota 2, Clash Royale, Arena of Valor, and Smash. Not only that, it owns the Overwatch League franchise Los Angeles Valiant. The Rainbow Six Pro League returns to Brazil on November 17-18th when eight teams from around the world compete at Jeunesse Arena, Rio de Janeiro.
Esports Insider says: The Latin American esports scene is undoubtedly growing, and moves like this from Immortals and Ubisoft will only supplement said growth. It’ll be intriguing to see how the team operates considering it’s in another region to the one the organisation it’s representing.
