ESI Events, Esports Insider’s events arm, has announced legendary Counter-Strike player Christopher ‘GeT_RiGhT’ Alesund as its guest for An Evening With.
An Evening With is ESI Events’ community-focused event tailored towards Counter-Strike fans. It takes place on June 13th in London alongside the BLAST Premier Spring Final.
An Evening With, ESI Events’ first B2C event, offers attendees the opportunity to meet and engage with GeT_RiGhT. The event will take place at BOXPARK Wembley in London. Seating is limited and tickets are available for purchase here.
With an acclaimed career spanning 14 years and two versions of the game, GeT_RiGhT is considered among the most distinguished Counter-Strike players of all time. Now retired, the Swede has 2x HLTV Player of the Year awards to his name (2013 & 2014), 10x HLTV MVPs and 1x Major win. GeT_RiGhT is best known for his long-time role at Ninjas In Pyjamas, under whom he and his Swedish teammates went on a renowned 87 map win streak in the early days of CS:GO.
Attendees of An Evening With can expect an exclusive talk and Q&A with GeT_RiGhT, who will take centre stage to share stories and insights from his illustrious career. The Q&A will be followed by the ‘Ultimate CS Pub Quiz’, where fans can test their knowledge and compete against each other for prizes. BOXPARK Wembley’s extensive food selection will also be available.
Alongside the Q&A and pub quiz, additional activities will be available including pop golf, VR and games, alongside more activations that have yet to be announced.
Taking place in the evening of June 13th, An Evening With is designed to coincide with the BLAST Premier Spring Final Counter-Strike event, unfolding live in OVO Arena Wembley from June 14th-16th. OVO Arena is within walking distance of An Evening With’s venue, BOXPARK Wembley.
To commemorate the parallel events, ESI Events has additionally announced that it has partnered with BLAST to provide free tickets to the BLAST Premier Spring Final. The first 500 tickets purchased for either An Evening With (premium) or ESI London will receive a free BLAST Premier Spring Final ticket for Friday 14th (Day 1).
