The Network of Academic and Scholastic Esports (NASEF) has announced its expansion into the European market through the launch of NASEF Europe.

The creation of NASEF Europe is due to a partnership between the organisation and the Alliance of Electronic Sports for Montenegro.

According to a release, NASEF Europe aims to utilise the ‘international experience of NASEF’ to build its foundation. NASEF Europe’s goal is to create educational opportunities by integrating esports into schools across the continent. The organisation also plans on hitting educational aims set by the International Esports Federation (IESF).

The objectives of NASEF Europe include the promotion of esports as a platform where students can achieve academic excellence alongside personal development. In addition, the network will provide resources for educational establishments to create esports initiatives and include the sector in their curriculums.

Expanding into Europe cements NASEF’s position as one of the largest scholastic esports initiatives in the world. In September 2024, it partnered with the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) to encourage the growth of collegiate esports ecosystems in the United States.

The network has also bolstered its staff in recent years. In October 2023, Claire LeBeaux became its Chief Advancement Officer where she oversees esports programmes and spearheads its global partnerships.

Gerald Solomon, Executive Director of NASEF, spoke on the news: “Esports not only fosters camaraderie and competition but also acts as a conduit for learning in fields such as STEM, digital literacy, and soft skills such as leadership, communication, and teamwork.

“We are honoured to bring our years of scholastic experience in esports to support NASEF Europe as it works to empower students and educators alike.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
