PSG’s August ‘Agge’ Rosenmeier will have been in a jubilant mood on Sunday evening after winning the inaugural Legia Esports Cup

The tournament, which featured the majority of Europe’s football clubs that have a FIFA pro on their books, took place on Saturday and Sunday. It makes for a successful week for PSG Esports as a whole, after their other FIFA player, Lucas ‘Daxe’ Cuillerier , won the ESWC 2016 final at Paris Games Week the previous weekend.

Agge beat off Schalke 04’s Tim ‘Latka’ Schwartmann in a tense final via golden goal after a 4-4 aggregate draw. West Ham’s Sean ‘Dragonn’ Allen meanwhile finished in third place beating AS Monaco’s Nathan ‘Sneaky’ Nayagom

Post tournament, Rosenmeier tweeted the following:

The Legia Esports Cup, which was organised in association with Qwatti Esports agency, also saw the announcement of Legia Warsaw’s own FIFA player, Michal ‘Sroka’ Srokosz who then proceeded to participate in the tournament. Srokosz picked up some good results against Man City’s Kieran ‘Kez’ Brown and Ajax’s Koen Weijland but lost to eventual finalists Latka and Agge and went down 2-1 to Wolfsburg’s SaLz0r.

The tournament was seemingly a smash hit with both players and clubs with many taking to social media to praise the Polish club for putting it on in the manner that they did.

Esports Insider says: The tournament appears to have been a great success for Legia and the FIFA scene. PSG are seemingly the club to beat right now…but we want to see some more clubs hosting tournaments like this. Who’s up next?

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
