The map pool for the Overwatch 2’s Champions Clash 2025 Hangzhou has been revealed.

In total, 12 maps will be in competitive play throughout the tournament, encompassing various modes such as Push, Control, Escort and more.

The announcement was made on X via the official Overwatch Esports account on March 24, 2025. However, some changes were made to the initial post after a couple of technical errors were spotted.

These are all the maps confirmed to be in play during Overwatch 2 Champions Clash 2025 Hangzhou. The maps will be selected randomly as the games progress.

Control

  • Lijiang Tower
  • Ilios
  • Oasis

Hybrid

  • Blizzard World
  • King’s Row

Flashpoint

  • Suravasa

Push

  • Esperança
  • New Queen Street
  • Runasapi

Escort

  • Circuit Royal
  • Junkertown
  • Route: 66

The games will take place in the standard 5v5 format with traditional role queue in place, so there will be no chance of 6v6 or GOATS meta making a return this time around. This means each team will consist of one tank, two supports and two damage players.

It will feature the latest build of Overwatch 2, including the introduction of hero perks in OWCS.

What is Overwatch 2 Champions Clash 2025 Hangzhou?

The Champions Clash is an upcoming esports tournament in the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS). It was first established in 2024 as part of a restructuring for the game’s esports scene that came after the shelving of the Overwatch League.

It is scheduled from April 18th to April 20th, 2025, and will take place at the Hangzhou Esports Center in Hangzhou, China. This is an important milestone, highlighting China’s debut as a dedicated region for OWCS.

The tournament will feature eight teams, with two representing each region: North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia, and China.

These are all the Overwatch 2 teams competing this year in Hangzhou.

  • North America: NTMR, Spacestation Gaming
  • EMEA: Gen.G, Al Qadsiah.
  • Asia: Team Falcons, Crazy Raccoon.
  • China: TBA (March 30th)

Overwatch 2’s esports scene has expanded in the past year. This includes the OWCS 2025 World Finals in Stockholm, Sweden, and the game’s return to this year’s Esports World Cup.
