Esports organisation Fnatic has announced a new partnership with McDonald’s UK, kicking off with the MAKE IT HOT launch event.

The partnership was revealed online on May 8th, 2025, unveiling the return of the McSpicy® X Frank’s RedHot® and the new Frank’s RedHot® Mayo dip at McDonald’s to commemorate the partnership.

Sam Mathews, Fnatic’s Founder, said: “At Fnatic, we’re always looking to partner with brands that truly understand and celebrate gaming culture. McDonald’s shares our commitment to creating memorable, community-first experiences.

“This collaboration is all about bringing people together; whether it’s over epic plays or bold flavours. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to show fans what’s coming next.”

McDonald’s is now the latest partner for Fnatic, who has partnered with companies such as marketing agency IMG and Red Bull earlier this year. On the official Fnatic website, it also lists partnerships with Amazon, Betify, GoGlobal and more.

Ben Fox, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald’s UK & Ireland, said: “Partnering with Fnatic allows us to engage with this passionate gaming audience, delivering experiences that bring people together over great food and gaming in an authentic way.

“We are delighted to be bringing fans the opportunity to make all of their favourite McDonald’s products hot with our new Frank’s RedHot® Mayo sauce pot. If that’s not enough, we are also raising the heat even further with the much anticipated return of our delicious McSpicy® x Frank’s RedHot® chicken burger.”

Food items include McSpicy® X Frank’s RedHot®, which returned on May 7th. It consists of a coated chicken breast, with lettuce, and cheese made with Emmental, jalapeños, slivered onions and Frank’s RedHot® Mayo, all in a toasted sesame seed bun.

It released alongside the Frank’s RedHot® Mayo, exclusively available in the UK. McDonald’s also shared that customers can earn double points in the McDonald’s app when they buy McSpicy® X Frank’s RedHot® products.

These are all the items coming to McDonalds UK as part of the Fnatic partnership:

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
