VALORANT brings back open bracket console tournament

The NA VALORANT Console Open has made its return, with the event set to take place from May 16th to 19th.

This marks the second edition of the tournament and is open to all North American console players residing in the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada, or Mexico.

Registrations for NA VALORANT Console Open 2 are now live on start.gg, with the event featuring a $10,000 prize pool (~£7,570). The champion team will take home $2,500 (~£1,892) and here’s the detailed prize pool distribution:

Apart from the main prize pool, special cash prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

  • Tournament MVP: $500 (~£378)
  • Best K/D: $250 (~£189)
  • Best Gameplay Clip: $250 (~£189)
  • Best Original Agent Performance: $100 (~£75) per agent, including Breach, Brimstone, Cypher, Jett, Omen, Phoenix, Raze, Sage, Sova, and Viper

The winners of these bounties will be determined through a stream audience vote, X (Twitter) poll, and caster & admin staff selections.

Participating teams will start their journey in a double elimination open bracket, featuring best-of-one series. After two days of battle, the top four teams will advance to single elimination bracket finals, where they will fight in best-of-three matches for the championship title.

  • Day 1 (May 16th at 4 PM PT): Double elimination open bracket 
  • Day 2 (May 17th at 10 AM PT): Double elimination open bracket continuous
  • Day 3 (May 18th at 10 AM PT): Single elimination bracket finals

The NA VALORANT Console Open 2 is being organised to celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary and all the matches will be streamed live on VALORANT Americas’ official Twitch and YouTube channels.

The first edition of NA VALORANT Console Open took place in January 2025, where Avengers clean swept Alpha Werewolves to win it all.
