European esports organisation Team Vitality has continued its dominant streak in the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) scene by winning Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Dallas 2025.

Taking place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Centre in Texas, Team Vitality defeated MOUZ with a clean 3-0 victory, taking revenge for last year’s result where the team finished runner-ups. Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, extending his collection to 26.

Despite limited practice time after winning BLAST Rivals earlier this month, Team Vitality took down South American side Legacy and GamerLegion to lock a spot in the playoff stage. After beating Mongolian team MongolZ, Team Vitality secured its place in the playoff semifinals.

In the playoff match, Team Vitality, had a rematch against Team Falcons, who were able to take a map from the opponents. Nonetheless, Team Vitality took the decisive Map 3 to lock the finals.

Against MOUZ in the Grand Final, Vitality took the first map control on Dust II by making a comeback from 8-11 to 13-11. In the following two maps, Team Vitality controlled the lead, closing out 13-9 on Mirage and finishing the sweep with a 13-8 score on Inferno. On top of the victory, the team took home $125,000 (~£92,291.8) of the $300,000 (~£221,500) prize pool.

With the latest IEM Dallas win, Team Vitality continues to lead the CS2 scene as the most successful team in this first part of the 2025 season. Having already locked the top of the VRS standings at the start of May, the two wins at BLAST Rivals and now at IEM Dallas should further consolidate their position.

The French team will now head to the BLAST Austin Major, which is kicking off next week on June 3, 2025. After that, the next competition will be IEM Cologne in July.

Fabien Devide, President of Team Vitality, commented after the victory: “I’m extremely proud of our CS team for securing yet another major title with this IEM Dallas victory. Team Vitality continues to showcase the strength and excellence of French esports organisations on the global stage, and we have no intention of slowing down anytime soon.”
