League of Legends Pride Event brings new challenges and rewards

The fifth League of Legends Pride Event has introduced a range of new challenges and items for players to complete and earn.

As part of Riot Games‘ Pride Month celebrations, players can earn a new emote and complete an in-game mission designed to improve the rate of battle pass progression in the popular MOBA.

In addition to the arrival of new in-game items, Riot Games will make a $100,000 (~£73,847) donation to the non-profit organisation oSTEM. The organisation encourages members of the LGBTQIA+ community to pursue STEM education projects and careers through community building.

Riot Games has supported oSTEM for several years through its Rainbow Rioters employee resource group, which is present in EMEA, North America and Asia Pacific.

League of Legends Pride Event 2025 Mission

As part of the Pride Event, Riot Games has released an additional mission. Known as United Together, the mission rewards 600 Battle Pass XP. To earn the XP, players need to play three matches with a premade team

This is the only mission included with the limited-time event, with more details shared over on Riot’s official webpage.

League of Legends Pride Event 2025 Emotes

For 2025, the Pride Event introduces the Rainbow Warpaint emote for Rell. The emote features the rainbow Pride flag in the background and a bisexual Pride flag on her face.

Alongside the new emote, emotes for Graves and Twisted Fate, K’Sante and Vi are also available. These emotes were previously available as part of the Pride events held in 2022 and 2023. Players can add these emotes to their collection in exchange for one Blue Essence.

League of Legends Pride Event 2025 Icons

Also available for one Blue Essence are themed Summoner Icons, which activate Pride trails during the 25.11 and 25.12 update cycles. In total, there are eight Summoner Icons for players to obtain:

  • Primatic Pengu
  • Cotton Candy Pengu
  • Galactic Pengu
  • Sunset Pengu
  • Twilight Pengu
  • Primary Pengu
  • Sherbert Pengu
  • Mint Pengu
