North American esports organisation OpTic Gaming has announced a partnership with energy drink brand Monster Energy.

As a result of the deal, the two parties will collaborate on a range of content and activations at events.

The partnership will see Monster Energy’s logo appear across OpTic Gaming’s facility, LAN events, and throughout its content published on social media.

“It was only a matter of time before our paths crossed,” said Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of OpTic Gaming. “Monster’s history of backing emerging subcultures, whether street art, motorsport, or music, mirrors everything we’ve stood for since day one.

“We both live the grind, live the hustle, and embody community. This partnership isn’t just business; it’s cultural alignment.”

Monster Energy becomes the fourth partner of OpTic Gaming and the second from the world of food and drink. It joins restaurant chain Wingstop, peripherals brand Razer, and gaming controller manufacturer SCUF in its portfolio.

The energy drink brand has continued to expand its presence within the esports industry. In April, it joined forces with Hanwha Life Esports and launched Behind the Stream, a content series starring its global portfolio of content creators.

This isn’t the first time OpTic has collaborated with a drink brand. In February 2024, it partnered with Smoothie King to collaborate on a series of watch parties taking place throughout the Call of Duty League (CDL) season.

What’s Next for OpTic Gaming?

For OpTic Gaming, all eyes are on the season-ending CDL Championship following a turbulent Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 season. The defending champions head into the tournament as the seventh seed, setting up a clash with Atlanta FaZe in the opening round of the event.

Championship Weekend takes place at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium in Kitchener, Canada, from June 26th to 29th, 2025 and will see the top eight regular-season teams compete for a chance to become champion.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
