Turner and IMG‘s esports tournament organiser ELEAGUE is set to make its debut in Call of Duty by hosting a charity event that will benefit veterans.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 event is titled the ELEAGUE CODNATION Challenge for Vets and will take place on October 13th – the day after the game’s release.

ELEAGUE Black Ops 4

Hosted at the ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta, the event will act as a platform to showcase the new instalment of the popular franchise and it will contribute to Call of Duty Endowment, a not-for-profit organisation that aids veterans in transitioning to civilian life once they’ve finished their service.

Broadcast live on Twitch, the tournament will see 15 popular personalities, professional players, and casters from Call of Duty form three teams of five to face off in numerous Black Ops 4 game modes. Participants haven’t been announced at the time of writing.

Black Ops 4 is thought to be pivotal for the franchise’s future by many, as Call of Duty has struggled to grow as an esport in any significant way over the past few years. For the first time, competitive teams will be made up of five players instead of four. Not only that, but there has been an increase in prize pool for the entire season and amateur players will be given a better platform to rise through the ranks.

Esports Insider says: It’s great for Call of Duty esports that a new tournament organiser has entered the scene, and it’s for a very worthy cause. If ELEAGUE can bring in some of the more popular people from the scene – combined with the excitement surrounding the new game – then viewership and fundraising could go rather well.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
