Content creator Ludwig Ahgren and Red Bull Gaming have announced the return of Streamer Games, scheduled to take place on August 16th-17th at a high school in Los Angeles.

The Olympic-style competition will feature 40 content creators competing in physical challenges inspired by traditional field day events. This year’s tournament expands to include a larger cast, live audience attendance, and additional competitive events.

Confirmed captains include Red Bull Player Jeremy ‘DisguisedToast’ Wang, Din ‘Agent’ Muktar, Brittany ‘Cinna’ Watts, Emily ‘ExtraEmily’  Xuechun Zhang, leslie ‘Fuslie’ Fu, Sean ‘Jacksepticeye’ McLoughlin, Jason ‘JasonTheWeen’ Ngyen and Emily ‘VanillaMace.’ Additional participants will be revealed soon. Each captain will select four additional creators through a draft system to complete their five-person squads.

“We’re levelling up Streamer Games this year,” Ludwig stated. “We have a bigger cast and the games are more absurd than ever. It’s about competition, community, and — most importantly — finding out which of my friends is surprisingly athletic.”

Growing Trend of IRL Creator Events

The tournament reflects a broader shift towards real-world gatherings in the creator economy, such as QTCinderella’s Streamer Awards and Ibai Llanos’ La Velada del Año. Mogul Moves, Ahgren’s production company partnering with Red Bull Gaming for the event, has previously organised successful live competitions, including their recent Basketball Jam and the Mogul Chessboxing Championship.

The two-day event will run from 1pm to 8pm PT each day at Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, California. According to a release, the broadcast will feature both an official stream and perspectives from individual creators in attendance.

Event Format and Competitions

The Streamer Games event features a mix of athletic challenges and unconventional contests. Participants will tackle standard track and field events, including sprints and throwing competitions, alongside unconventional additions such as Simon Says and tablecloth-pulling.

Teams accumulate points based on their performance across all challenges during the weekend. The scoring system determines final placements, with the highest-scoring team claiming victory.

Spectators can attend in person after securing tickets via streamergames.gg. Those unable to attend can follow the action through multiple streaming options — Ludwig’s YouTube channel and Twitch channel, as well as Red Bull’s Twitch channel will all broadcast the event.
