Riot Games has officially announced the official release date for the English version of its League of Legends Trading Card Game (TGC), Riftbound.

According to a blog post by the game developer, Riftbound will officially launch on October 31st, 2025. Its first set, Origins, will be available across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and Oceania, with additional regional rollouts starting in 2026, alongside the release in APAC. The company also stated that it will monitor market demand for future print runs.

Riftbound Release Details

Riot Games has confirmed four products for the initial English release: Proving Grounds (starter boxed set), Champions Decks (pre-constructed decks ready-to-play), Booster Packs (14-card booster packs) and Booster Box (24 packs in total).

Additionally, there will be card sleeves and playmats featuring Ahri, Jinx, Miss Fortune and Volibear available for purchase in local stores, with Riot launching a store locator on August 4th.

According to the blog post, a limited quantity of Riftbound: Origins items will be available for preorder on the Riot Games Merch Store starting on August 4th at 5 PM BST. The Arcane Boxed set, which debuted during the TFT Macao Open, is confirmed to be available for preorder at the end of August.

Riot Gamesa also stated that there will be special launch events following the release date, with the chance to pick up promo booster packs by taking part. Moreover, Riot stated that a limited-edition Riftbound x Worlds bundle is expected to drop later this year. Both will have additional details released at a later date.

Announced in December 2024, Riftbound is a trading card game inspired by Riot Games’ popular esports title, League of Legends. While the game will launch in China later next month, given League of Legends’ popularity in the market, the TGC game has been available for playtesting at various Riot events, including this year’s MSI 2025 in Canada.
