New Jersey-based consulting Company INGAME ESPORTS is reportedly working with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) to organise events in Atlantic City.

INGAME ESPORTS is a company based in the state of New Jersey, it provides services and solutions for business, government, and academic organisations in the esports industry.

At the first esports summit hosted by Stockton University in Atlantic City, Anthony Gaud, President and co-founder of INGAME said: “We’re working with the city to ensure esports benefits everyone.”

Atlantic City is no stranger to esports events, back in May the Harrah’s Resort hosted the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Finals. In 2017, Caesars hosted the Gears of War Pro Circuit Atlantic City Open with a prize pool of $200,000 (£150,000).

The CRDA and INGAME are joining efforts to turn Atlantic City into the esports destination in the east coast starting in 2019. One of the locations picked for future events is the Boardwalk Hall, an arena with 14,770 seats.

Marshall Spevak, deputy executive director of the CRDA, said: “We’ve met with INGAME about bringing esports events to Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, and we’re excited about the possibilities they’ve spoken about.”

According to INGAME, several esports organisations already showed interest in Atlantic City as a possible base of operation. Gaud did not reveal the organisations in question.

Esports Insider says: The esports industry is in desperate need of infrastructure and esports-only arenas. Taking the show on the road would be a lot easier if every city had an esports arena ready for the events. Atlantic City has the potential to become the esports destination in the east coast, not only the companies understand what esports offer but also are ready to invest.

  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
