Honor of Kings (HoK) has announced P-pop group SB19 as the official music artist for the Honor of Kings International Championship 2025 event.

The group will release the season-ending esports tournament’s official anthem before it begins on November 14th.

Announced on October 28th, the news comes after SB19’s track appears in Rise of Honor, the event’s official cinematic trailer. The announcement says “new melodies” will be released soon.

Dubbed the “Kings of P-pop,” SB19 recently celebrated its seventh anniversary as a group. The group is currently midway through its Simula at Wakas World Tour, which heads to Bangkok, Thailand, on November 2nd.

Founded in 2018, SB19 continues to cement its place as one of the region’s top P-pop groups. In April, its Simula at Wakas EP entered the UK album downloads chart, hitting a peak of number four.

Additionally, the group hasn’t confirmed whether it will perform the anthem at the event.

Anthems are becoming an increasingly popular fan engagement tool used by esports tournaments and event organisers to build excitement ahead of an event. September saw singer-songwriter G.E.M was revealed as the artist performing the 2025 League of Legends World Championship anthem.

Honor of Kings International Championship 2025 Details

From November 14th to 30th, 16 of the world’s best HoK teams will head to the Philippines to compete for a share of a $1m (~£757,305) prize pool and an exclusive in-game skin to mark the winning team’s victory.

The Group Stage takes place at Makati’s Shooting Gallery Studios, while the second knockout week and the Finals head to Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Entry for both venues is free, allowing local fans to watch and support their favourite teams.

With Honor of Kings’ biggest esports event of the year taking place in the Philippines, joining forces with one of the region’s biggest music groups is a smart move to promote the tournament.
