YuChiang Cheng, President of Topgolf Media discussed the venture in a statement: “Topgolf at our core is about bringing people from all walks of life together through play, competition, music and food to share in meaningful moments. In partnership with TCL, we have reached out to a diverse group of gamers of all different backgrounds to give us input to make a welcoming space. Creating an inclusive esports destination, driven by TCL’s polished viewing and gaming presentation, will help further a diverse group of people to enjoy esports and feel welcomed.”

The chosen Topgolf venues will be equipped with televisions from TCL and will offer “daily esports play” and an “inclusive guest experience”. Additionally, Topgolf is developing turn-key methods for esports events to be hosted at any and all of its venues.

Chris Larson, Senior Vice President, North America at TCL added: Topgolf is a destination unlike any other and as America’s fastest-growing TV brand, TCL is excited to be teaming with one of the fastest-growing sports and entertainment brands in the world to create a new experience for the esports community and Topgolf guests. TCL’s award-winning TVs have been praised for delivering premium picture quality and powerful performance, especially by the gaming community, which makes TCL products a worthy addition to homes and Topgolf venues across the country. As such, we’re confident that this partnership will be long-lasting and successful for both brands and our customers.”

Esports Insider says: There are more and more esports-specific venues opening in the United States, but it’s nice to see venues that mix traditional sports and esports – it could even be an additional method in creating a crossover of interests. Esports is undeniably a huge source of entertainment and companies – such as Topgolf – are looking to use that to their advantage.

Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
