Saudi Arabian esports organisation Team Falcons has announced its expansion into arcade racing title Trackmania.

The organisation has signed Carl-Antoni ‘CarlJr‘ Cloutier as the first player of its roster, with the competitor set to compete in high-profile tournaments across the world.

Unveiled on January 21st, 2026, CarlJr is widely regarded as the greatest Trackmania player of all time. Throughout his 16-year playing career, the Canadian has won seven world championships, most recently winning the Trackmania World Cup in November 2025.

CarlJr is also the highest-earning player in Trackmania history, winning approximately $167,000 (~£124,407) in prize money. The player has already started the 2026 season on the front foot, winning the NCSA DuoCup alongside North American player Neal ‘Neal‘ Kamdar.

For Team Falcons, the expansion into Trackmania follows the game’s addition to this year’s Esports World Cup line-up. Trackmania’s debut at the multi-title event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will feature 32 players competing for a share of a $500,000 (~£372,292) prize pool.

The latest iteration of Trackmania launched in 2020 as a free-to-play title. Over the past six years, several esports organisations have fielded rosters, with the likes of Team Nemesis, BIG, Solary, and Dignitas competing in the Trackmania World Cup, Red Bull Faster, and seasonal campaigns.

Team Falcons Continued Expansion

Since its launch in 2017, Team Falcons has cemented its place as one of the largest esports organisations in the world through continued expansions into a wide variety of titles. In October 2025, the organisation signed FCG player Zeng ‘Xiao Hai’ Zhuojun to compete in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves.

As a result of Trackmania’s inclusion in the Esports World Cup, the title’s esports scene will see several organisations field players aiming to compete at the event. With Team Falcons securing one of Trackmania’s most successful players, the organisation is well-positioned to achieve success.
