Sports entertainment company, Super League Gaming has announced a partnership with Topgolf to create multiple amateur competitive esports events across the country.

YuChiang Cheng, President of Topgolf Media, explained: “Super League Gaming understands how to deliver great in-person experiences for mainstream competitive video gamers, a rapidly increasing segment of our customer base. We love their inclusive vision and how they have established dedicated local communities in major markets with Topgolf venues. Together, we are creating a unique space for gamers to have a world-class, competitive and fun experience.

The partnership will include a variety of console and mobile-based esports programmes, followed by single-location events to location-vs-location competitions. Further development into the partnership will see local, regional and national amateur leagues. Both parties will also be looking for third-party tournament organisers to create Topgolf’s own events alongside Super League Gaming.

Matt Edelman, chief commercial officer of Super League Gaming stated: “Topgolf has established one of the most impressive experiential brands in the world and recognizes that esports can be a significant additional growth engine for their business. We are honoured to be their primary esports content partner and excited to collaborate with the Topgolf team to bring Super League events and our platform into their remarkable, expanding footprint.”

Back in December, Topgolf announced that it will create esports lounges at six of its outposts in partnership with TV brand TCL.

The partnership between Topgolf and Super League Gaming will begin in Las Vegas for Super League Clash Nights: Super League Gaming’s Clash Royale tournament.

Esports Insider Says: Topgolf is one of many entertainment venues where players and fans of esports events have notably attended during their free time. They have begun building multiple partnerships such as TCL and now, Super League Gaming to enhance their entertainment brand within esports. With the TCL partnership combined with Super League Gaming, Topgolf can continue to make moves in the esports space. We’ll be keeping a keen eye.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
