Virtus.pro has signed the REDACTED Rocket League roster ahead of the RLCS Boston Major, which is set to take place later today (February 19th).
Throughout the 2025/26 Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), the North American team has competed without the backing of an organisation. This includes the RLCS Kick-Off Weekend and the online Opens.
Announced on February 18th, the acquisition of the REDACTED roster marks Virtus.pro’s return to Rocket League esports. In May 2025, the organisation signed the former Luminosity Gaming line-up. Virtus.pro’s best result came at the RLCS Raleigh Major, scoring a top-14 finish after failing to advance from the Group Stage.
Under the REDACTED banner, the trio of Jayden ‘2Piece‘ Horton, Cohen ‘Tawk‘ Hawco, and Dylan ‘Wahvey‘ Thanus quickly made an impact in regional tournaments. A top-four finish at the first North American Open, followed by another top-four finish at Kick-Off Weekend, cemented the team’s place as one of the world’s top rosters.
In 2026, the team recorded consecutive second-place finishes during the second and third online Opens, securing the third seed in the North American rankings. Virtus.pro is one of four North American teams competing at the Boston Major, which is hosted at the Aggains Arena.
Virtus.pro begins its Boston Major campaign against Team Falcons in its opening Group B match. The all-Saudi roster achieved a wealth of success throughout the 2025 season, winning the Raleigh Major and finishing second at the 2025 World Championship.
Virtus.pro’s Continued Expansion
Throughout 2026, Virtus.pro has expanded into a range of new titles and ecosystems, spanning a variety of genres. On February 9th, the organisation re-joined the Honor of Kings partner programme, securing a place in the Honor of Kings Major League (KML).
Elsewhere, it unveiled a CrossFire roster set to compete across several high-profile tournaments.
Signing one of Rocket League’s hottest prospects is a statement of intent for Virtus.pro, as it looks to achieve success in the car football title against some of the world’s largest organisations.
