Cryptocurrency company Immutable has announced that Spludge Wars will launch soon on the Immutable Play ecosystem.
The company stated on February 25th that players will be able to jump straight into the game from the platform.
A New Fast-Paced Shooter Experience on Immutable Play
Immutable noted that the addition of Spludge Wars seeks to deliver fresh gameplay experiences for users while expanding the variety of games available on Immutable Play.
According to the team, players will be able to team up or compete against each other in each round, earning rewards while navigating a mix of action and strategic decisions.
What is Spludge Wars?
Spludge Wars is a fast-paced third-person multiplayer shooter developed by Rekt Games, blending action and strategy in colourful paintball-style battles. In each match, up to 12 players are dropped into an arena to battle it out.
Unlike traditional shooters, Spludge Wars includes an ‘ally‑or‑betray’ mechanic. After eliminating an opponent, players can choose to team up and share rewards or go solo to claim everything for themselves.
Additionally, Spludge Wars incorporates competitive and community-focused rewards, giving players incentives beyond simple victory in matches.
Immutable’s Dynamic Rewards Support New Titles
The Spludge Wars imminent launch announcement follows Immutable’s upgrade of its $60,000 Weekly Rewards programme on February 19th.
The new system introduces dynamic tiers that reward consistent gameplay instead of just one-off participation. Players now earn points by completing weekly quests, with their rankings deciding how much of the prize pool they get.
According to Immutable, the tier system has five levels: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary, each giving higher rewards as players climb up. Players can also track their weekly points and compare rankings through an updated profile panel.
