Late last week, Serbian esports organisation Aurora Gaming officially announced its entry into PUBG esports.
The announcement marks another step as the team grows its presence across different games.
Aurora Unveils PUBG Lineup
The Aurora Gaming PUBG active roster features Kirill ‘ext4nz’ Lysenko, Aleksey ‘Layosh’ Shvedov, Mikhail ‘xLurex’ Lyubaev, and Artem ‘Art1_x’ Todorenko. They will be guided by coach Nikita ‘Mersell’ Vadimovich Dobizha, with Gunzalez handling management duties.
Ext4nz previously competed for NAVI and later played with Gaimin Gladiators and winordie. In 2025, he placed third at the PUBG Global Championship and claimed first at the PUBG Players Tour: EMEA Masters #3.
Layosh last played under Nemiga Gaming and Team Orchid, finishing sixth at the 2025 PUBG Global Championship and first at the EMEA Super Cup #3. He spent over three years with winordie, gaining solid experience across CIS tournaments.
Art1_x previously represented Team Orchid, SLAMG, and Exalt. He has international experience, finishing third at the PUBG EMEA Championship: Spring 2023 and has competed in multiple PUBG Global Championships.
Xlurex also comes from Team Orchid and SLAMG. He was part of the roster that finished second at the PUBG EMEA Championship: 2025 Fall and has regularly featured in S-Tier and A-Tier events throughout the EMEA region.
Guiding the roster is Mersell, the Russian coach, who previously led SLAMG and Team Orchid to strong finishes, including second place at the PUBG EMEA Championship: 2025 Fall.
Although the organisation did not disclose tournament plans or regional placement, the direct announcement suggests it is ready for upcoming competitive cycles. PUBG remains one of the most structured battle royale esports ecosystems, with regional leagues feeding into global championships and multi-million-dollar prize pools over the years.
Aurora Gaming’s Wider Esports Presence
Founded in Serbia in 2022, Aurora Gaming has steadily built a presence across Europe, the Balkans and CIS regions. Outside of PUBG, the organisation operates a Counter-Strike 2 roster largely composed of Russian players competing in European events.
Aurora is also active in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), fielding teams in both the Philippines and Turkey.
