Ryan ‘Moltar’ Charpentier, Co-founder of DCS World Events and SATAL discussed the sponsorship: “Following on from the success of previous years tournaments, having Thrustmaster join as an official sponsor of the league, and fueled by the tremendous prizes on offer by our sponsors we are more excited than ever to be kicking off the 2019 competition.”

SATAL sees teams compete in a 6v6 Diamond League or 4v4 Gold League, with the league spanning over six months and culminating in a final event in October. Matches will be played and livestreamed every weekend from April 6th.

Tim Gorham, US Marketing Manager for Thrustmaster also commented: “We strongly believe that SATAL is a major player in the future of flight sim esports, which is why we have gone all-in to support them. These are the best virtual pilots in the world, so we want them to have the best gear!”

Thrustmaster has joined Heatblur and Eagle Dynamics, the developer of Digital Combat Simulator, as a sponsor of the competition.

Esports Insider says: This is certainly a different story than the majority of which we post on here, but flight simulators clearly have a dedicated playerbase – no matter how small when in comparison to genres such as MOBA and FPS. We’re glad to see the league receive some support from a company involved in the scene.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
