Riot Games has added Sanquin and GoDaddy as partners for the upcoming 2019 LEC Spring Finals in Rotterdam.

Sanquin is responsible for safe and efficient blood supply in the Netherlands on a not-for-profit basis. They return as LEC partner for the Spring Finals following a previous collaboration at the 2018 Summer Finals, which saw over 5,000 people register to donate blood.

For the 2019 Spring Finals, Sanquin will be integrated into the broadcast every time ‘First Blood’ is secured. Also, every attendee at the 2019 LEC Spring Finals who signs up to donate blood and has it tested will unlock the League of Legends champion, Vladimir in-game as a gift.

GoDaddy joins the LEC as its first web hosting sponsor. GoDaddy helps everyday entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life online, providing domains, websites, email, and all the support they need. This is GoDaddy’s first big esports partnership, with the brand having previously supported traditional sports such as badminton and cricket.

Last month, Riot announced that Beko, the global home appliance brand, were coming onboard an official supplier of the LEC. The partnership will showcase exclusive content encouraging healthy eating and Pro players from across the LEC. Other recently announced partnerships include Red Bull as the official energy drink supplier, DXRacer as the official gaming chair provider and Foot Locker who provide jerseys for the on-stage referees.

The LEC Spring Finals kick off on April 13th at the Ahoy Rotterdam where one team will be crowned the winner and qualify to represent Europe at the Mid Season Invitational.

Esports Insider says: Ever since LEC rebranding, Riot Games has been continuously adding more and more partnerships to its portfolio. Repartnering with a local and non-profit partner in Sanquin is a positive move.  It’s great to the company using its audience to help take steps towards a great cause – it is a very impressive initiative!

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
