Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has announced that the PES LEAGUE 2019 World Finals is heading to the Emirates Stadium, the home of Arsenal Football Club.

The tournament will take place from June 28th to 29th and see sixteen of the world’s best 1v1 players, and eight CO-OP teams compete for the PES LEAGUE 2019 title.

“We’re pleased to support KONAMI by hosting an event as esteemed as the PES League World Finals,” said Michael Leavey, Media, Marketing and CRM Director, Arsenal. “Emirates Stadium is a befitting location for the world to witness these top calibre players as they engage in fierce competition to find out who is the best in the world.”

PES LEAGUE is the official esports tournament for PES 2019 where thousands of players from around the world compete in local and online events. This year’s iteration consisted of two seasons with regional winners coming from Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Newbies include Indonesia’s ZEUS_FAIDAN, who is looking to go head-to-head with reigning champion, Italy’s Ettorito97, who will be looking to defend his title.

Elsewhere, the CO-OP entrants include Brazil’s Eligasul Stars, Spain and Italy’s Broken Silence, Indonesia’s WANI, Japan’s Beginners, France’s Quedesshlags and Brazil’s Tigers Esports.

Further details and more world finalists are set to be announced in the coming weeks including four partner tournament finalists – as confirmed on Twitter.

Esports Insider says: We are currently seeing a growing trend of sports venues playing host to esports tournaments. Emirates Stadium will join the evergrowing list of UK sports venues, which includes Twickenham Stadium and The Copper Box Arena. With dedicated esports venues not set to emerge for a couple more years, we have no doubt more sports venues will play host in the interim.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
