Australian esports organisation Athletico Esports have announced an official apparel sponsorship deal with BLK Sport. 
The partnership, dedicated to delivering the ‘most cutting edge apparel’ for Athletico Esports team members, and the company has become the Gold Coast based esports organisation’s exclusive provider of esports clothing. The team is currently involved in CS:GO and Rocket League.
This follows on from other apparel deals such as Adidas and Team Vitality, which you can read about here. Adidas also handles North’s branding, the team launched by FC Copenhagen and Nordisk Films.
Athletico Esports is one of Oceania’s most established esports organisations and has been running since 2005. Neighbours BLK Sport is a sporting apparel provider which boasts an international presence in a range of sports from rugby to bowls.
Tomas Ravelid, CEO of Australian Esports Media Group commented: “It is with great pleasure we break new ground with BLK on esports apparel. This partnership ensures our players are sporting apparel at the forefront of innovation and design; integral in any competitive environment.”

Esports Insider says: We’re always keen to see strong esports partnerships being established, but news from Oceania tends to be few and far between. Hopefully this deal can begin kickstart a change.
