Event organiser DreamHack has announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with tournament platform Challengermode.

The deal, which was established in 2018, will now continue through to 2021. The release explains that DreamHack can “strengthen their online engagement efforts, activating and monetizing their fans on a daily basis” with the use of Challengermode.

Michael Van Driel, CPO of DreamHack commented on the extension in a release: “DreamHack has always been about bringing value to our community, and having Challengermode as a platform partner has enabled us to do that online in a scale we couldn’t before. We look forward to expanding DreamHack Weekly and support the grassroots esports communities with even more competitions in CS, PUBG, LoL, and Dota 2 – with more games to come.”

During the past year, DreamHack has hosted a number of online tournaments and qualifiers through Challengermode, including its ‘DreamHack Weekly’ series.

Challengermode and DreamHack also recently launched a new weekly series of exclusive Dota 2 tournaments with a total of €9,000 (£7,949.56) in prizes. More series, covering additional titles, are set to be announced soon.

Robel Efrem, CEO of Challengermode commented: “We couldn’t be more excited to extend our partnership with DreamHack after all the great stuff we’ve done together. DreamHack is one of the most prominent tournament organizers in the world and has also become a great partner for us throughout various endeavours. With DreamHack’s unique track record and our platform technology, we are in a unique position to offer some truly revolutionizing esports and gaming experiences over the coming months and years.”

Esports Insider says: DreamHack has seemingly found a great fit with the Challengermode and if it works then why not extend it? The tournaments created by the two companies are a great way of supporting the grassroots community and inspiring the next generation of players.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
