Adam Antor, Head Coach of Aquinas Esports spoke to the benefit of its latest partnership: “This partnership with Gamer Advantage will allow Aquinas Esports to provide our players with the most advanced blue light glasses on the market. The goal of this is to provide our players with proper eye protection for enduring prolonged practices and matches while using our computers, this leading to less eye strain and more sleep.”

Aquinas Esports is a varsity collegiate athletic program launched earlier this academic year, offering scholarships for prospective esports competitors. Aquinas Esports is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE),  fielding teams in League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Bryan Reeder, Founder of Gamer Advantage touched on the importance of protecting the eyes of esports athletes: “Gamer Advantage is really intended to be a form of protection. Protecting the eyes of our esports athletes is just as important as using a helmet to protect the heads of the hockey players.”

Gamer Advantage is the latest computer eyewear manufacturer to double down on esports. In July, the company secured a partnership with North American organisation Str8 Rippin. The arrangement with Aquinas Esports is Gamer Advantage’s first foray into collegiate esports.

Esports Insider says: While fairly popular back in the early days of competitive gaming, computer eyewear has seen a decent resurgence over the last year. Lenses able to deflect harmful blue light emitted from screens have proven to reduce eye strain – in fact, I’m wearing a pair right now.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
