The expanded partnership includes jersey sponsorships for CLG’s League of Legends and Fortnite players, as well integrations across the organisation’s performance centre and digital platforms.

Dan Fleeter, COO of Counter Logic Gaming commented on the expansion in a release: “When our partnership with Newegg first began, we wanted to build programs together that were mutually beneficial and we couldn’t be happier that Newegg has seen the value of our partnership and decided to expand its affiliation with CLG to our League of Legends franchise. The expansion of this partnership allows each player to choose the exact equipment they believe will provide the best opportunity to succeed and we see this as a gamechanger for the industry.”

CLG Red, the organisation’s female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team, squad also benefit from the deal as Newegg will act as presenting partner for all of its broadcasts and launch a series of brand activations at specified community events.

Andrew Choi, Senior Brand Manager at Newegg echoed the positive sentiments: “Strengthening our collaboration with CLG gives Newegg the opportunity to become even more entrenched in the esports movement, connecting with an enthusiastic fan base that aligns particularly well with our customer base. We’re excited to make the latest gaming tech available to
CLG’s players, and we look forward to another year of bringing spirited esports competition to fans across the globe.”

Esports Insider says: It’s interesting to see Newegg commit so heavily into esports through CLG now after what has to be deemed a successful trial partnership. Newegg’s now integrated into CLG’s efforts rather deeply so it’ll be worth keeping an eye on how things improve over the course of the next year.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
