The sales comes as a continuation of a strategy that will see the company turn its existing facilities into a more “computer-centric” atmosphere alongside providing consoles to its customers.

The Oxford territory will complement the presence of Simplicity Esports and Gaming Company’s Biloxi facility in Mississippi, while the two Texas territories will expand its footprint across the southern portion of the state.

Jed Kaplan, CEO of Simplicity Esports and Gaming Company, commented on development in a release: “Our goal is to sell 20 new franchise territories by the end of 2020. The sale of these franchises expands our presence in Texas and Mississippi and is meaningful to the achievement of this goal.”

In August 2019, Simplicity Esports entered a definitive agreement to acquire PLAYLive Nationa company that owned a network of 44 gaming centres across the United States. PLAYLive’s centres, which are said to serve over 150,000 unique customers each year, will all be re-branded with Simplicity Esports branding.

The centres were acquired in order for Simplicity Esports to expand on its goal of bringing esports and gaming to the masses.

Esports Insider says: After securing the PLAYLive Nation centres last year, Simplicity Esports is quickly bringing esports to the masses with purpose-built facilities opening across the United States. It will be interesting to see how it fares in what is quickly becoming a highly-competitive market within the esports industry.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
