It’s unlikely that this will come as a surprise given the current landscape but we are sorry to announce that ESI New York (#ESINYC) will be postponed, meaning it will no longer take place on April 27-28th as originally planned.

Esports Insider has been monitoring the global advancement of Coronavirus and, given the measures in place and the situation in New York, we will be rescheduling the event, in the same format and venue, to now take place across Monday November 30th to Tuesday December 1st.

ESI New York Rescheduled Dates

ESI New York is set to be even bigger and better than last year with a fantastic lineup of speakers and brands and we are incredibly disappointed we won’t be able to move ahead with the original April dates, but we’re confident that we’ll be able to deliver an even better conference this winter.

Ticket holders unable to make the December dates will, of course, be entitled to a refund, and we’ll provide instructions in the coming days on the process. We want to thank all of our sponsors, partners and delegates for their patience and understanding in these completely unique circumstances, and we look forward to welcoming you to ESI New York in December.

We’re also exploring digital options in the run-up to the event that would be unaffected by the COVID-19 and still offer networking opportunities and keep business moving as we all work home from. We will also be sharing more information on ESI London 2020 in the not too distant future.

Sam Cooke, Managing Director & Co-founder of Esports Insider, spoke on the decision: “There are many circumstances in which we would soldier on with ESI New York, but unfortunately a global pandemic is not one of them. We’re disappointed to have to postpone the conference, but in the grand scheme of things we’re just thankful we’re able to take these measures now and help ensure the safety of our delegates, speakers and partners. On the bright side, December is a wonderful time to visit New York, and the postponement gives us even more time to deliver what should be our best event yet.”

As always, a big thank you to our partners – all of which can be found below.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
