It may still be 78 days away but the hype around Call of Duty World League – MLG Anaheim is evident. Adam Apicella, Vice President, League Event Operations at Activision Blizzard Media Network/MLG has revealed on Twitter that VIP tickets for the event had sold out in record time.

As evident by the tweet prior, general admission tickets are also flying as fans look to secure their place for the event which will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center between June 16th – 18th. Another tweet revealed that on the same day, 6% of the total general admission tickets sold for the recent Call of Duty World League – Dallas were sold for Anaheim (in just that day).

It follows one of the greatest Call of Duty series in history where OpTic Gaming took a nail-biting series that lasted three hours against eUnited. Over 100,000 people online and a raucous live crowd became the “Green Wall” and urged the team onto victory. Seth “Scump” Abner notched a staggering 28 kills per round in the Grand Final. It was revenge for OpTiC as they avoided a repeat of the result at the CWL Atlanta Open where eUnited came out victorious.

The initial release of Infinite Warfare with a remastered version of Call of Duty 4 caused an debate as to whether the competitive esports scene would be split – the palpable hype around recent and upcoming Call of Duty events seems to have well and truly put the debate to bed. The professional scene and its spectators have embraced the latest release and, as a result, have put on some exceptional shows.

Esports Insider says: The CoD scene is part of the somewhat underappreciated console esports scene. Call of Duty World League Dallas was impeccably run and Anaheim already looks set to be bigger and better. Bring it on – we can’t wait.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
