Officially joining LetsPlay.Live in July, Hughes will work within the company’s platform and leagues team, though she will help “the wider LPL family as and where needed” by putting her management skills to use.

LetsPlay.Live is a prominent organiser of PUBG events in the Oceanic region, regularly hosting online events with prize pools for amateurs and professional players alike. However, it also accommodates players of titles such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rainbow Six Siege, Dota 2, Call of Duty, and Clash Royale.

Hughes told Esports Insider: “I’ve been following along with LetsPlay.Live since they first launched in 2017 and I’ve always felt the company, and the team, are leading the way in esports within New Zealand, where I call home.

“As I’ve had a number of different positions within the esports ecosystem I know that my experiences and background will be able to elevate LPL to a force to be reckoned with internationally. I want to be a part of shaping the esports ecosystem in New Zealand and I know working with LPL will make this happen.”

Esports Insider says: Hughes, considering her wealth of experience in both the region and PUBG specifically, makes her a great hire for LetsPlay.Live. We wish the best to both LPL and Hughes, and look forward to seeing New Zealand’s esports scene continue to grow!

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
