NXT UP Esports, a recreational esports league platform founded by former Team SoloMid director of partnerships Luke Zelon, has opened its doors.

The league and programs hosted by the company are said to “focus on teaching players the fundamental in-game and out-of-game skills to elevate their lives to the next level.”

Alongside the launch of the league, NXT UP has joined forces with highlight capture application GaZoom. H highlights captured by players using the app will be posted across NXT UP Esports’ social channels.

Zelon, Founder of NXT UP Esports, discussed the project in a release: “I’m excited young gamers will now have a place where they can have fun playing the games they love in a structured, competitive environment. So many important lessons about life can be taught by being a part of a team and working towards a shared mission. From my own experiences working at TSM and playing in recreational sports when I was a kid, I know how beneficial being a part of a team is for personal growth and development.”

With a heavy focus on young, amateur players, a portion of the participation fees will go towards the creation of the NXT UP Esports Scholarship Program – an initiative which will provide students with financial resources to pursue courses relevant to gaming and esports.

Registration for the Fall 2020 league opens on September 9th, with the first league being open to players aged 13-15.

Esports Insider says: Any project supporting the next generation of esports talent has a lot of potential. Armed with an inclusive approach, NXT UP Esports has the ingredients to become a top amateur league but competition is getting stiffer in this avenue.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
