Ninjas in Pyjamas hires leads for community and communications

Swedish organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas has announced the appointment of two new employees, namely Vincent Lutz and Anton Fagerhem.

Lutz joins as the new Head of Community and Growth, while Fagerhem joins as new Head of Communications and Public Relations.

Most recently working at Black Molly Entertainment, Fagerhem served as the Creative Director at the esports production company from January 2019 until August 2020.

The newly-appointed Head of Communications, Lutz, joins after a four-year tenure at gaming peripherals manufacturer HyperX. During his time at the Kingston-owned brand, he oversaw a variety of areas, including influencer marketing, social media development, and content creation in the EMEA region.

Ninjas in Pyjamas is currently partnered with Panasonic, online bookmaker Betway, gaming peripherals manufacturer Xtrfy, digital trading card platform Epics.gg, and ASUS gaming brand Republic of Gamers2020 has been a year of recruitment for the organisation. In January, it appointed Jonas Gundersen as Chief Operating Officer, and in May, Soren Runge became Head of Commerical Partnerships.

Gundersen spoke on the hires in a release: “Getting the right people in the right seats is critical to keep building on our momentum, while sustaining a small and agile organisation. We have a lot of very exciting things coming up, and will keep investing in our people and infrastructure as we further expand our organisation across all departments.”

Esports Insider says: Despite the current global situation, Ninjas in Pyjamas is continuing its growth with two new key additions. We’re interested to see the visible public-facing changes that come from these hires.
