UK gaming and esports event organiser epic.LAN has announced a partnership with peripherals firm Logitech G.

epic.LAN’s 2021 esports tournaments include the likes of CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, Starcraft 2, and VALORANT, which debuted at epic31 Online last year.

Jon Winkle, epic.LAN’s Managing Director, spoke on the partnership via a release: “The Logitech G team has worked with us regularly for many years supporting everything from charity fundraising, to free pizza for everyone in the event pub quiz, to launching our first VALORANT tournament in 2020.

“In 2021, we will be cementing our partnership with Logitech G joining us as our official peripherals partner for all 3 of our events, whether they are online or hopefully in person later in the year.”

In addition, Logitech G has also been named as the official peripherals partner for 2021.

Despite primarily being known for its offline events in the UK, epic.LAN transitioned into an online format (epic.WAN) as a result of the pandemic. However, despite its change in strategy the organiser has still managed to secure a range of partners for its 2021 events, with the likes of Overclockers and noblechairs striking agreements with epic.LAN.

The event organiser’s next event is scheduled to commence on February 25th and will take place entirely online.

Esports Insider says: It’s good to see epic.LAN continue to secure partners despite its hardships and shift into online events. The agreement will see more of an emphasis be put on the organiser’s esports tournaments which will provide a greater incentive for grassroots esports players to compete at the event.
