ESforce has made its latest move, revealing an English based media platform initially focused on providing editorial and news content around League of Legends, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The platform is named Cybersport.com and will run alongside the company’s CIS and Russian language based Cybersport.ru

The site has been launched in Beta and the welcome post outlines the lofty ambitions for the new platform. The Managing Director is Michael “TorteDeLini” Cohen, a man best known for his extensive hero guides within the Dota 2 client. He will be spearheading the operation whilst there’s seven confirmed editorial staff and a number of contributors already named.

At the moment there’s a plethora of content being pushed through, from community based news to esports based news. With the extensive network in place at ESforce, through from its own streaming platform to its ownership and media rights for Natus Vincere, Virtus.Pro and SK Gaming there’s abundant resources at the site’s disposal to create unique esports content and challenge the existing ranks.

There’s still no shortage of consumer content websites out there, with the likes of GosuGamers, Dotesports, Score and ESPN all still prominent. The space recently saw Gamurs swallowed by Dot and with the emergence of Dbltap and its content deals it will be interesting to see how the space develops in coming months and who can grab momentum in what’s already a busy space.

Esports Insider says: Good luck to Michael and the ESforce team with this latest venture. They’re already keen on receiving community feedback about the site and it will be interesting to see the content strategy and the progress they make over coming months. With some of the contributors already lined up, there’s some exciting names amongst the content creation world so we’re looking forward to seeing some great consumer content.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
